The Goose & Twigs is proud to add to our guest room offerings. We now have the ideal Sister Bay Chalet for your family to rent all year round. Of course, it’s perfect for that idyllic summer vacation, warm family reunion, or a fruitful writing retreat in the winter.

The Goose & Twigs Chalet is directly behind our 9-room inn and has plenty of parking for your group. Imagine waking up to sunlight-filled rooms as they’re all east facing. The queen bedroom upstairs is completely bathed in sunlight at 10:00 am -- even making you forget that it’s winter, relishing in the beauty of Sister Bay, WI.

This three-bed, two-full bathroom chalet has a wrap-around balcony, a table for 6 underneath a string of cafe lights, a barbecue for your grill master, and a full kitchen inside. Whether you stock up at Costco on the way up from Palatine or hit the Piggly Wiggly (we call it “The Pig”) when you get to town, you’re sure to have a great time entertaining.

The home has a table for 6 as well as extra chairs, plenty of seating, a glorious fireplace, and a Smart TV as well. And, like our 9-room inn, the Goose & Twigs Chalet has high-speed internet. You’ll need it – especially in the summer when the cell towers are a bit overtaxed.

Ceiling fans help with the circulation in this authentic chalet and there are windows throughout both stories. If you’re a fan of natural light, and the quaint cottage feel that makes Door County what it is, you’ll love renting the Goose & Twigs Chalet.

The upstairs bedroom offers a queen size bed, dresser, Smart TV, and balcony with chairs. Your only view is full of trees and, if you listen closely, you can hear the barred owls at night. What a sound! A full bath and loft with a full-size futon are also located upstairs.

Two bedrooms are located on the east side of the downstairs both have closets, dressers, and of course nightstands. The north bedroom has a queen size bed and the south bedroom has two twins. The downstairs full-size bathroom includes a tub/shower combo as well.

Also Dog friendly, perfect for long walks in the park or down by the beach. The Chalet is only 5 minutes away for the Sports Complex/ Dog Park!
