Where is Goose & Twigs located?
Goose & Twigs Green Lodging and Cafe is located in the heart of Sister Bay, WI. We’re across from the public library in walking distance from downtown Sister Bay. Sister Bay Bowl, Husby’s, and Al Johnson’s are all within walking distance from the center of downtown (57/Mill Road).
How far is the Sister Bay Marina from Goose & Twigs?
Goose & Twigs is a third of a mile from the Sister Bay Marina and Beach. This is about a 5 minute walk – just about perfect, we’d say.
Are Dogs Allowed at Goose & Twigs?
The Goose & Twigs Inn, Condo, and Chalet are not pet friendly. However, on-leash dogs are allowed for outdoor setting at our cafe in the summers. Of course, if you have a service animal, let us know.
How long has Goose & Twigs Been in Sister Bay?
Goose & Twigs started years ago in a child’s vision and was opened as an Inn and Cafe in 2019. We’re proud to be part of the traditional downtown of Sister Bay – arguably the heart of Door County, Wisconsin.
How do guests get housekeeping services?
Those who stay at our 9-room Inn will receive a welcome letter to the email address they provided during booking. We also provide a booklet in the room that explains our room services. Simply use the red and green signs on the door. Green means Go and red is do not disturb. Housekeepers begin their services at 10:00 am daily.
What are in the Inn’s rooms?
The 9 rooms that make up our cozy inn all have comfy beds, an iron and ironin board, television, fridge/freezer combo, microwave, small desk and chair. Each room also has a pair of chairs and table for outdoor seating.
How many hotel rooms are there?
Our quaint Inn in the heart of Sister Bay has 9 rooms: one king, four double queen rooms, and four king with sofa bed rooms. Our condo has 2 bedrrooms plus a futon and a twin trundle. Our chalet has 3 rooms and a loft sleeper.
How do I block hotel rooms for events at Goose & Twigs?
We’re so glad you’re booking a block of rooms for your destination wedding or family reunion. Our Events Page details the process and our policies. Simply fill out the form and we’ll follow up with your request.
What is the cancellation policy for Goose & Twigs?
If you’d like a full refund for your hotel, condo, or chalet booking, that will need to be done two weeks prior to your arrival.
If you’ve booked rooms for events like a destination wedding, we have a 90-day cancellation policy for a full refund. All rooms will need to be full, two weeks prior to the event or they will be opened to the public.
Is Goose & Twigs Accessible?
The Goose & Twigs cafe has a path of travel and ADA-compliant ramp. We also have first-floor rooms at our 9-room inn. Be sure to request an ADA rooms if needed. Our Inn does not have an elevator. Neither the condo nor the chalet have ADA-accessible restrooms and the chalet has steps to get inside.
What is the checkin and checkout process at Goose & Twigs?
After booking at Goose & Twigs, you will receive a welcome letter to the email provided during registration. Please read the detailed instructions for our contactless checkin and checkout process. The 9-room inn uses the Open Key App.
Hot Tip: Download the App on your phone before you travel to Sister Bay. Cell service up here is a challenge all year round and the towers are taxed during peak season. This will make receiving your key a seamless process. Once you get here, we have powerful WiFi and we’re happy to share the password then.
