There are plenty of wineries in Door County, as you know. Anchored Roots has a wine tour available at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 18 for just $25 per person. Plus, once you get to Sister Bay, you can take a walk at the marina and view the sunset. It’s really remarkable.

What’s a Road Trip Without Some Pit Stops? 

Of course, you’d probably like to stop at Renard’s Cheese – on the way. Scaturos’ is serving a traditional Corn Beef and Cabbage on March 17 in Sturgeon Bay for the whole day and the Fatman Reuben Breakfast Burrito. Of course, they have hand breaded perch, too.


Being that it’s St. Patrick’s Day, you must stop at O’Meara’s Irish Shop in Fish Creek on the way to Sister Bay.

What Restaurants are Open in The Winter in Sister Bay?

Once you’re in Sister Bay, you have plenty of options for dining. Looking to have a couple of drinks and watch the game? Husby’s is a block away and is the #1 Rated Sports Bar in Door County. And, like us, they have free WiFi. Want a more traditional Supper Club experience? Then Sister Bay Bowl is your best bet. Don’t be distracted by the Bowling, they’re a top Supper Club.

Is art more your thing? Saturday, March 18, The Penninsula School of Art is hosting a FREE Family Art Day just down the street. And The Ridges is hosting a Bluebird Nest Workshop March 18 from 10:00 to noon.
